We had a private track rental at Orlando Speedworld today and I was able finish my last 2 passes for my NHRA License. I had some difficulty getting the car dialed in with a new NOS progressive setup from Nitro Daves. After 4 passes we finally got it fairly close to good on the launch. On my 6th pass it shook the tires but I peddled it to a 9.15 @ 153.51 and managed a .006 light.
One other guy was able to finish his license passes but blew a head gasket on his last run
, thanks to Eric (Next) for signing off on both of our timeslips. The other signature was from our friend Susan V who kicked all the guys butts by running 8.51 and 8.52 on all of her 6 runs with her BMW w/ a blown SBC.

Congrats.
Did they make you do just a burnout, then a burnout/60 ft. etc? I hate that they make you do that, I mean if it's your first time of course that's a great idea but when you've got tons of passes on a car it just feels like you're just wearing things out.
Must be nice to have tracks still open... I'm jealous.

he went 8.8 at the World Street Nats on its first 300 shot run. Car has plenty more in it.
with a taller radial, a bigger shot and fine tuning the progressive controller he should go 8.5's-8.4's.
I think he should get the lights working and get a tag on it and drive it on the street personally.![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
Here's a pic of the knuckle dragging Caveman acting like he's working on his car.![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)

The track rental was a good time and congrats on gettin' in done. BTW, Susan went a .48 on the last pass I saw so her car is starting to come back around even though they are fighting carb issues.
Your tire shake had to rattle the dentures and I'm sure it had an .8 in it if you didn't have to peddle. Good news is you've already gone that fast.
