So LS1's can have ETP, AFR type heads but and LT1 in this thread has to run stock heads?

ETP and AFR are LSX "style" heads. Meaning you can run them with stock intakes. So LTX "style" heads are fine from AFR, Edelbrock, etc...

Just thought I would pull this up. I made this list since so many people complain about light cars going fast and so we can see what full street cars with full interiors can do and how they do it. It has been a year, I am sure there are updates to be made.

Well a small block Chevy gen 1 head IS a LT1 "style" head. The only thing you change to make them work is re-routing an oil return to the lifter valley. A 23* head has the same port layout and valve angle as a factory LT1 head. You can run a Factory LT1 intake on gen1 heads with the Vortec style bolt pattern. As of now Dart, Trick flow AFR, Edelbrock make heads for these cars, we are handicapped enough already.

Who cares what heads are on it....still an LT1 or LS1.

Here is mine

94Z28, solid roller 383, RHS 23*(standard valve angle) heads, super vic, elbow, monoblade, stock electronics and opti, FULL out the back Mufflex exhaust no cutout, 9 inch 4.11's, 4200 converter, drag radials, pumpgas, 3800lb raceweight, Probably the heaviest car in here...but thats about to change!

60ft 1.53

1/8 7.02@97

1/4 11.02@124

Pass was made on 12-16-07 at Hub city dragway, da was -200 ft(ish I have no idea)

FASTFATBOY: I do not know EVERYTHING about the SBC. All I am saying is if you can't bolt an LT1/LT4 factory intake to it, I will not post it. But I guess if the only difference is the bolt pattern, then I can put it up unless someone complains. Please post in my format as in the first post and I will post it.

Has that car really ever been on a scale? I know it and you are no light weights, but it sure seems heavy. Have you ever had it to the track in some "good" air? Seems like it should be solidly in the tens, but what do I know? Sure looks sweet though with that stance.

Yes it has been scaled, 3470 no driver....3800 with driver. Notice my name?

The 11.02 was in good air.....I spent the WHOLE day learning how to work the car....10 passes that day. I FINALLY got it 60 footing in the low 1.50's and started messing with fuel pressure. It went the 11.02 with +2 lbs of fuel pressure it picked up .06 with that change, I turned it 2 more lbs and the track closed,my first pass that day was an 11.65....it gets closer to the tens every time I go to the track....it has only been 2 times to a 1/4 mile and once to the 1/8 mile.

The converter is a llittle small also, Ed Wright wants me to change it...you outta see this thing, weighs a TON. Has an anti-baloon plate, double disc lockup clutch etc.

It will get there, has enough mph to run 10.80 like it sits. Thanks for the compliments.

I wanted to keep it as top 10. But seeing how there are LT1s and LSXs, maybe I will bump it to 15. Sorry for the guys I dropped that were top 10 and were bumped out. I do not have your records. Please post again and I will update. But from now on only 15 for each list. Please only post if you still own the car.
