Forgot to mention I ran both of those times with the jack and spare out, and about 2 gallons of gas in the tank. I'm also running the stock 16" wheels, if you have some bigger, heavier aftermarket ones could slow you way down.
For sure. I actually noticed a big difference when going from the 16" wheels to the 17." It felt more sluggish from a roll and down low.

when i made my runs i ran the car with the jack in and the spare tire, also i had a bunch of junk in the trunk cuz it was a spur of the moment thing to go to the track....lol...i agree with TORK?, maybe she's just a late bloomer...lol...im guessin that a new rear end is soon to come with a better gear ratio, cuz i feel im gettin outta the hole good, its just that at the end she seemed to fall on her face.

I'd bypass that new gears idea and go right to a stall. That way you can still keep your 2.73 fuel economy. Plus it would net you better results at the track.
If I were more concerned with go than show thats what I would do. Maybe after I do some aesthetic things I'll worry about making it quicker.

check out my times. i was also running 13.8 - my main problem was trying to get out of the hole.

first time ever at the track, hot as hell after an hour drive through traffic in 80-85 degree heat. 2.73 gears and shitty street tires, stock with just a loudmouth catback....ran a 13.5@106 with a 2.14 60'ft
dont know if that helps you at all but DA can make a huuuuuuuge difference. if you add gears AND/OR a stall, you'll see a pretty big improvement

11@night would be concern for really bad humidity. humidity can hurt you more than heat. i would rather run in 80 degrees with no humidity than 50 degrees with 60% humidity
