BS3's John Meany and one of his main tuners couldn't make it work using the OEM sensors. They told us no one had actually done this before other than us and Jud who also went to teh MSD trigger and ignition. If you are running the MSD crank trigger and a distributor it works great but they are still trying to do the stock system coil on plug with the stock sensors. What are you saying you guys are running?
Ahhh LS2 ! Ive only used the LS1 stock cam\crank sensors.

My engine goes 9100rpm at the top of the gear. It might pull higher, but our testing has shown the 24X wheel's signal to be unstable over 9000 so I chicken out.

9800 rpms sounds like murder for the valve springs. I remember back in the old days when the guys spinning those kind of rpms (+ more) would have to change the springs every three or four passes.
Are the springs they make now days lasting any longer ? How often do you plan on inspecting them/replacing them ?

Everyone shut up unless you have a fix to the LS2 cam sensor BS and see what the damn thing runs already! Joe/Erik, what do you think it will do once its ironed out... 9.dohs! or faster?

Yeah hopefully it will run even lower nines or maybe even high 8s if it can hook 100 percent! It's all about the chassis really as it makes good power.
The production block cylinders on the LS2 move around a bit at those power and rpm levels so a better block wouldn't hurt either.

Most of the prostock guys love our springs and you won't find anybody beating up their springs harder than those guys.
The hard part with them is they're always pushing the limits so we've been working are butts off to keep up.
We have a couple of small OD dual springs that will take 10,800 RPMs and 1 inch lift.
