Default My ET is way to high someone help!

I went to the track Wed Night it was around 91 degrees and 80% humidity (my 1st problem) I ran a 13.0 @ 111 MPH w/ 2.2 60 ft i think this is kinda slow since i dynoed at over 400 RWHP.

I am running a BBK Manifold which I'm sure was heatsoaked, and it was a slow night at the track so my runs were like 15 min apart.

I am running street tires but, next spring I'll be switchin ti Nitto DR's (trying to preserve my 10-bolt)

Any Tips? I'll probably go back one more time on these stupid street tires... what PSI should they be? any tips on launching my 6spd? any info/help is appreciated

Mods in Sig.

thanks!

400rwhp for a 111mph?

Either the dyno was wrong or your car weighs almost 4000 pounds with you in it. (111mph with a 4000 raceweight would actually take 384rwhp but I'm estimating you weren't making quite 400 in that heat and humidity)

It's not too far off only by 2-3 MPH which could def be the heat. but I'm getting the car weighed this week, and i'm gonna start working on cutting it down.

Traction should be your first concern. Get some sticky dr's and let it go at 5 grand, bet that 60 drops to a 1.6.. 1.7...I have yet to go 111mph in 1/4, when i do, probably be a 12.50 run. check my sig.. Good luck!

As far as running the street tires, drop pressure to about 28 lbs., go around the water and do a decent burnout. Your 60 ft. has to drop, so do that and and with the streets let the clutch go at 2200 rpm, but almost ride it out for a milisecond and then mash it. Are you runnin stock gears? If so, then do what i said and see how you make out.
