We went to Rockingham to take advantage of the cool weather. The crew at Rockingham did an outstanding job making the track the best it could be.
The first pass,
It left hard, then as soon as the spray came in, it spun. Martin peddled it 3 times. He new it wasnt a good pass so he let out of it. 6.96 in the 1/8 coasting. Only trapped 88mph.
Drove back around and we heard the flexplate banging around. Martin ran around to find some tools. Dave got under there, and went to work.
Next pass.
The crew at Rockingham went to work on the track again. This time it was working.
Martin does a big burnout. The lights come down, he hits it and the front wheels come about 9 inches off the ground. This is what it ran.
1.52 60ft
6.52 1/8 107mph
10.21 1/4 132 mph.

It's a 2wd, and here's a quick rundown of his set-up: 402cid, trickflow heads, custom cam, all the normal bolt-ons, and a direct-port nitrous set-up, RPM tranny and Yank converter, drag radials, stock suspension, 4,850 pounds.

Yank 3200. He doesn't spray til about 75-100 ft out due to traction. The rear ends on our trucks squat so hard, then unload so quickly, it's really hard to hook alot of power on the stock suspension, and unfortunately, we don't have any other options right now. We have to rely on tires only to hook. I mean, there are some adjustable shocks out there, but nothing specifically built for our trucks and its weight.

I would make some brackets off the rear and put some good shocks on it. I have seen TBs leave and they do squat way to much. Good set of shocks might let you leave off the bottle and punish the tires instead of the shocks.
BTW.....That is hauling ***.
