Default 1/8th Mile trap speed. (STOCK LS1)

BONE STOCK, what did you trap in the 1/8th?

I've got a flowmaster, and a lid. I would assume that to be close enough to stock to not make a MPH difference.

I can only get 82-83 MPH out of my car at the Huntsville track, no matter how I run.

I'm curious to see what the rest of you run/ran.

The traps are consistant, no matter how much I suck up the launch.

Thanks guys!

The gear makes a bit of difference there, as does the suspension.

I just ran 8.9 @ 83 in the WS6 feathering the clutch with a 2.3 60'. The only mods I have found on it power wise is a loudmouth.

Here's my car trapping 82 MPH on a warmer track day.

You can tell the track was stickier because instead of running an 8.80 spinning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd... it did not even squeal.

Question

one thing every one needs to remember is that although e.t's can all be estimated by the computer at the track, not all tracks are equal. some are short 1/8ths, 650 600 630 it all depends on which track your at.. if its a short track youll get an a computer simulated 660 time but mph will be taken as is so you could run the same time at one track but get a diff mph then at another. hope this helps.
