It runs 6.90's on motor @ 100 with 18's on the front and 17s on the back with m/t street radials.. 4000 converter, 3.23 gears, full exhaust out the back.. And I weigh 300lbs.. So ha.. Your car is slow as ****..

Do you have 70+lbs from an iron block? Do you have 65+lbs from a 6pt cage? Do you have a TH400 transmission or a 9 inch rearend that is 50lbs heavier than a 10 bolt? More details please... thanks.
Next question... if you replied no to any of the above let me ask you....
-Without the 6pt how many passes before you got kicked off the track?
-Without the rearend how many before your 10bolt goes boom?
-(i admit the iron block is dumb and not worth the extra weight, but it was only $300 bucks vs a $700 aluminum block.
btw, I also have leather, ttops, powersteering, blah blah blah.

3.23 gears is why your MPH is so high.... but let me assume your 330' times are not as good. Also a 4k stall helps you get out of the hole nicely. So your best NA pass was a 6.90.... the only proper attempt at an NA pass in my car and it went 7.31....... I am sure with a bigger stall it would go faster... but tell me... what did it do on a 150 shot? What is the weight? Your TFS 225 heads are much better NA than my LS3 270 heads by the way.

The whole point is there is always someone out there faster than you. Rather than saying "your car is slow as ****" we/he should be trying to figure out how to get it to run what it's capable of. It's all in the combination of parts and one of or several of the parts in his combination is holding it back. I don't think it's all that slow for a street car but it could be better. It takes time to figure it all out, if it were easy we would all be haulin ***. I just get tired of the haters saying stupid ****.

Thanks Mark.
I hate being so defensive, but if I keep the subject going I might actually get legit input and feedback. All the numbers are somewhat new and w/o knowing where you are at you cant see what direction you need to go....

Thats definitely respectable.. And thats also right in the area of where I am hoping I'll be in a few weeks.. The car went 6.30's with a 100 shot on it off the footbrake with very little tuning.. I took at least 100 lbs out of it, added a transbrake, bigger/better headers, went from 4" out out the back to spriral flows off the headers, and bought a new stage kit.. Also A LOT more tuning..
