Default New Best Time...Just Missed the 12s

Went to the track last night. Since my last time out I've deleted my AIR & EGR, Backseats, Spare Tire & Window Washer Resevoir and added a LS6 intake.

I didn't get a chance to get my TB ported and I'm still untuned. All passes were made on stock 16in Snowflakes with crappy Ventus tires.

First Run:

R/T:.......294
60ft:......2.104
8th ET....8.57
8th MPH..85.82
1/4 ET....13.17
1/4 MPH..107.46

I then ran 6 or 7 more times....then

Best Time:

R/T........054
60ft.......2.052
8th ET....8.45
8th MPH.86.51
1/4 ET...13.03
1/4 MPH.107.51

Kinda disappointed that I barely missed the 12s, I'll get it when I get tuned hopefully.

i was out there watching. easy 12.8's-12.70's when the fall weather comes in. track was about +1500 da around 9 pm.

put a 3500 or bigger stall in that thing and some drag radials and your looking at low 12's when the good weather comes

Thanks Cam, that's reassuring, I'm getting a tune and a ported TB this Friday so hopefully that will help. I think I'm gonna buy some drag radials for the Snowflakes.

I can't swing a stall right now but when I can I'm going PT3800

good choice seems like you got everything figured out and going in the right direction. tune, drag radials, and stall and it will fly no doubt.

I'd be happy with that in summer time air. My Formula has almost the same mods except I run MACs, and no weight reduction (spare and jack are even in every time), stock converter and 3.23 gears. With 2.04 60 foot times summer ets are normally 13.1x's at about 104-106 depending on DA and track heat.

I ran 13.02@107.3 the other week, the DA was about the same too! I have the same mods as well haha. I was pretty upset that i didnt hit 12s.

Good runs though! Once fall comes, i know you and me both will be throwing up new threads about how we made it haha. Good luck man.
