Awesome race last night, show didnt end til midnight.
Kempf and Major both went to the second round. Brian (Fireball) gave a hell of an effort for the 4th or so time out in an entirely new car but unfortunately went out first round.
Major clicked off a 4.95 in first round, second round it seemed traction was the issue for both Kempf and Major.

Something happened with Major in the semi's,alseep at the tree or mechanical, not sure.

No sleeping here .03 light just lit the tires up as soon as i let go of the brake.
The track got me the car has been a real pain in the *** right now we need a good track to make things happen. If the track goes away i am done. We hope to change that in the near future.

Cary took out Major in the semis, it was Major's 5.9X to Cary's 5.17. I notice Major is not that consistent yet. Once he gets that thing on a string every time, he will be deadly.

for those interested,a link to a friends picture page.
He has a nice launch sequence of Major's vette towards the end. Also has some good 1's of Fireball and the Stenod crew.

We had a great time at the track! It was cool to hang out with the east coast crew. Paul really has his C5 running and we were both looking forward to a little LSX heads up action but it was not in the cards. I really struggled with getting down the track. First test hit we hit it a lot harder than the track would hold so the second test pass we dialed it back a bit but not enough and blew the tires off again. First round of Qualifying we dialed it WAAAY back just to get down the track and netted the miserable but qualifying 5.29. Second Qualifying round we left the first 330ft about the same but hit it a little harder out te back door but with minimal improvements. By this time the track was coming around so in the first round we stepped it up a bit, same soft launch but brought the boost in faster which lead to a power wheel stand. I was able to get out and back in a few times just enough to cover the win. Feeling better about the track and knowing we had Stine next round, Harlan stepped up the tune to what should have been enough to cover him. I figured if I could tree him we would beat him but that was not the case. I did beat him on the tree but that was all; I lost the tires again and did my best to peddle it but Ritchie was not leaving any room on the table for error!
Thanks to all for the hospitality and we look forward to seeing you guys again at Memphis or Bradenton!
