I got to witness it firsthand People don't realize, this was his third pass with the new combo....its gonna get ugly at SHakedown, Bradenton and Orlando. It went a 1.22 60' with a 3.17 to the half. The car was dead-hooked. If he would have had more time, it would have gone a .65.

just ridiculous what is being done on that tire and the tuneups to apply the power to get down the track. From what i read on YB, this was without the tq arm.

I would imagine that Vrettos, Brady and Hinzman will be right there come Bradenton. A car running 4.8s will still wins rounds against a quicker car when someone sleeps on the tree.

Impressive, but I'm in agreement that if someone get fed the 'tree on a turbo car it might be over. IMHO, a torque arm matters, otherwise why would they have put it on a Mustang in the first place?

Ive heard that car has been able to get down before with or without the TA in place. All I know is, if I saw it didnt have a TA, Im still not sure Id put money on the other guy whoever it is!

its moving and IMO its not solely b/c of the additional suspension piece as wolfe, job, and others are masters of the tuneup to get it stuck on the track.

but, having said that, if the mustang gets a tq arm that is not in any stock mounting point, can an fbody get two short tq arms not mounted in a stock location.......I am sure you know what i am getting at.

How about 4 control arms, not mounted in stock location?

What I meant was, I think he can remove the TA and still run a number right there

Don't forget no wheelie bars...tons of folks kept saying how Wolfe couldn't run the number with out the tq arm or the bars.

I think they are eating crow right about now.

Congrats to David and crew. Car is so sick!

You can decide if he has wheelie bars. They have not had a torque arm on the car in over a year.
