I'd be afraid of flipping it over...aren't you already spinning or hiking the front end?

That's what I'd be worried about.... I'm still trying to figure out how you are hooking that hard on a radial and bringing the other 300-325 in only .3 seconds later WHICH IS QUICK and you're not either blowing the radials off or flipping on the roof....

I leave on a 28x10.5W ET Drag on a 150 shot and it straight reaches for the MOON. 1.50 on the back tires consistently....

If I added another kit and brought it in at .3 the car would probably go completely vertical and/or flip.....

So let's hear it, how the hell are you keeping taht front end down???? Limiters, wheelie bars, combo of the two???? Praying to Odin???? I need to know..... LOL!

Either way that's HAULIN!!!! What does it run on motor?????

A glide helps a ton!

Limiters help also.... See Madman for those.

I had a TH400 last year and even with the limiters real tight it tried to go on the bumper.

The glide has calmed it down to much. haha

Start off tight unless your not scared of the bumper. if it spins loosen them up til it hooks.

tuff (8.38@166 nos lsx ta) runs 28x10.5 stiff's and is running 1.28-1.31's. Limiters are helpful too. he's using a direct port on a progressive.

Going from slicks to radials will make it harder to keep the front end down.

You could get by easily without wheelie bars. I'm sure there are plenty of f bodies that run a th400 and nitrous that are in the 8's. I am not even running travel limiters yet and bring in 400 hp worth of nitrous before the 60 foot. Yes, the glide helps, but I don't think I'd have too much trouble doing the same with a th400. I guess I got it done just by playing with the car at the track and keeping somewhat of a log so I can reference changes that I've made. You might need to move a little weight around as well. That should help along with tying that front end down.

I found that the dual adjustible afcos make a big difference in getting the car to 60 foot, setting the tq arm at -2 degrees downward, and making my single adjustible QA1's loose up front. I have a tight converter that might stall at 4000 on a good day, so that probably helps too with the loooong first gear of the glide. I have 1.34 60'd the car on the back tires, so I know that it works.

My car is a complete POS on motor. It makes about 450 rwhp through the glide with nitrous timing. I think it ran high 11's, but I only ran it on motor a few times.

I am going to try and bring in somewhere around 500 and hope for some 8.50's or 8.60s. This is a Fast intake on a regular iron 402 so it's not making power like some of the other nitrous cars on here. It runs out of steam around 7200 rpm. I need a super victor!
