when I think full weight I think, carpet, stereo, etc... all in the car still. so a non-gutted car. oh and I too am looking at a 10sec n/a goal. but you guys have it easier because your DA is A LOT lower than mine. I'm probably going to have to spray into the 10's

thats awesome, after I get all the parts I just ordered into my goat, currently wieghs in at 3,738 with a 1/4 tank of gas in it I am hoping to go mid to low 11's. This is with just 205 heads. At the end of next season I will do a 500lb gut to try to put it into a high 10 myself.

My Formula runs 10.75 at 123+ with a race weight of 3,415 lbs. it is an auto 346 NA car.
Here is a video! I have a pretty good thread under the 10 second area called Good 3,000 RPM Launch!

all u have to do is check out the combo they're running and how much they weigh, match it up to how much ur car weighs and see what combo is going to get u into the 10's .. also where you're located is going to have an impact on how "easy" your going to get into 10's n/a w the 346

I'm definitly going for the same goal as you. Full bolt on's, heads, cam, and suspension getting into the 10's all motor on a 346. I then want to strap a bottle on and go for 9's haha. I think it is doable but extremely hard especially with full weight. I might take a little out not much (AC, back seats, etc). Good luck!!

An auto car even on 17s could go quicker than I have been Im sure

My six speed bucket fits that bill, stock seats etc etc and has been there with stock heads, so yes its definitely possible. its all about getting it leaving though. I do have tubular kmember/lower a arms, racebrakes on the back. Im pretty sure you could add that 100 lbs and back and itll still go tens in pretty good air.

that car is nowhere near full weight if its the black one that Alex owns. Fast as hell but not full weight.
