Default Will a SS3600 Yank??

Will this converter put me in the 7's?? If not , will a PT4000 will? I currently have the SS3600 with me, but not installed. Just wanted to make sure before I put it in. Also will the 275-40-17 BFG drag radials be able to hook? Mods are in sig, I have added a ported TB but have not made a run with it yet. The car is not tuned also. But at the moment I can do a converter or a tune, wich should I do first. My goal is to run 7's as soon as possible.

As long as you can hook the 3600 converter alone will get you there.

I don't think it will. .4 in the 1/4 from a converter would be very possible, but in the 1/8 is pushing it

I thought it would, cause I am not doing too good on the 60ft. Dropping .3 in the 60ft would almost get me there right??

yea but to lower you 60s you need to hook not raise you stall RPM. you need better tires. or instead of the converter try some LCA and rolac. brackets. start getting the power to the ground and you will lower it.

with traction it is possible but you might need a little weight reduction, another bolt on, or lower DA

I personally think you could. Here is a link to my car/results with a yankss3600 https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/1001083-how-did-i-do-boltons-ss3600.html. I ran like a 8.2 with a 2.00 60' before the converter then went 7.71 with a 1.71 60' after the converter. Keep in mind that there was about a 20 degree temperature difference and sway bar deletion between the runs. I also was on bfg drag radials before the converter and et radials after but the car hooked on the bfg's before the converter. I am very pleased with my converter and I think I will be able to get into the 7.6's with a little practice.
