I love the fact that you still have the tire stickers on the front tires.

You gotta leave the stickers on the tires. It's bad luck to remove em.

Ill see about getting them hosted, and I'll update my thread. I cut a little off the rails near the fenders to fit the lip over it. Don't wait your time with that. cut the lip off the hood, sand down so it blends flat the the hood so the rails fit good and flat under the sides of the hood.

haha that was a long post, hope the spelling isnt that bad.

Camaro396,

Very nice clean car and great work. You should be very proud of yourself as I don't know of any 19yr. old that could do what you have done!! Heck there aren't many 19yr. olds today that can even change their own oil much less accomplish what you have. Kuddos to you dude!! Enjoy that car, as you have sure earned it!!

Wrapped everything up today, filled the trans with fluid, fired it up for 2 seconds and it managed to **** all of the fluid out of the vent tube on the side of the trans. I put the hood on it and came inside. **** my life.

Betcha a 6 speed wouldn't have done that. J/K. Crap happens. Take your time and it will all come together. The anticipation of getting it going was just too high, so that is calling all the little gremlins to come out and **** with you. It'll get going soon.
