Broke my trans a couple weeks ago. No track for me this year. I put the car in the corner of the barn and covered it up.

I'm about to put a T56 in this bitch.

I'm not sure. I was running some 500whp turbo Honda, ran it through the gears, car pulled good, shut it down, came up to a stop, we bullshitted for a minute and were going to run again with him getting the leave, and went to take off and it was locked in third gear. No first or second. Whenever I put it in first or second, it just goes right in third.

You're not makeing enough power to be breaking a TH350... something was put togeher wrong in that tranny if that's happening.

Not sure who built it.... but I'd be all over their *** about getting it fixed now, longer you have it sitting, they're gonna try to tell you you've been beating it for a year and that's why it broke, stuff like that you have to get in touch with the builder right away if there's any hope they will honor their work.

This is the second issue I've had with the th350 in this car, built by this guy. He's not touching it again. I'm having a very well known guy do it at his shop this time.

Contact info? I've heard that name before. I was going to have Joel's On Joy go through it. Several friends have used him with good luck.

I put a th350 in my car for a few months, then put a built t56 back in it. I hated the auto, it was really boring. Nothing is better than banging those gears. good luck man

I had a T56 in my car, pulled it for a TH400 and now a powerglide. Forget that six speed stuff!

I agree! ^^^
"6 speeds impress high school kids, Auto's win races." IMO Thats the best slogan ever quoted! The auto is by far the most consistent and will usually pick the car up a few tenths.

Good Luck with the Transmission man, If you need a guy to build it, I know a good builder here in Indiana.
Although it seems like you have a few others lined up!

James
