Default suspension advice

Needing some help around shocks and maybe a sway bar for my car.

Car: 19998 z-28
Cam and fast 90/90
3.73
torq arm and relocation bracket
DS loope
LCA
LCA relco bracket
PH bar
10 bolt right now (upgrading to a 9 inch or M9)
4000 stall

I ran 11.94 last rear with the car shifting at 5900 rmps so its got alot more in it.

But i want to upgrade my shocks and don't know tons about this aspect of my car.

I drive the car mainly on the street and take it to the track every so often and then do some side racing....

I was looking at QA1'a with 300lbs springs but not sure if these would be good for me or something eles? I was also told just buy the Koni adjustable shocks and i can adjust them for the track and for the street.... just not sure what wway to go... i only drive the car maybe 2000- 3000 miles in the summer.

Also was wondering about a rear sway bar. Good things to get or hold off and spend money eles where?

Any help i can get would be greatly appriciated.

not sure on a spring rate but if your looking to go with coilovers i definately recommend just saving some extra cash and going with afcos or if your looking to stay cheaper go with strange. are you looking for a handling sway bar or a drag sway bar?

Get the BMR extreme sway bar. We carry them. Also either Strange or AFCO shocks. Give us a call and we can come up with a package for you. 225-673-3533

I agree with Madman on the sway bar. As for shocks, I would look at QA1 as an entry point and AFCO as the best of breed.

How much does the car weigh?

Thanks for the recommendations. Our rear xtreme sway bar is one of the best on the market and is a farily easy install. As far as shocks go strange are the best deal. I would use a 300lb spring on a street car. If you have any questions about our bar or which shocks to use give me a call. Im in the office till 5:30pm est.

I know Madman does! Give him a call, that is all he does is build and tune race car suspensions, you can't go wrong with any advice he will give you and from what I can tell he is usually glad to help!
