That's not really that good. The G5X2 cam can be a monster. Terrible 60' with Nittos. Sorry for the negative feedback. Just being honest with my opinion.

Sorry, mods would help.
M6 stock 10 bolt w/ 3.42
edelbrock LTs
true duals
TSP lid
I was heating the nittos up quite a bit and dropped them down to 15psi and still spun thru 1st and got loose into 2nd.
I had another 12.46? @ 116 w/a 2.199
I wasn't disappointed. I know the 60' needs to come down
but do the math and it's easily a high 11 sec. car. I have a set of ET Drags that I've never used, but I couldn't convince myself to bring them without a trailer and a ride home.
Heads and a bottle next year should do the trick.

once you get that 60 down she will get alot quicker... 11's more than likely.. or atleast 12.0-1's

good luck

drop some weight out for free HP if you havent already. Lighter car hooks a little better i believe

You should give more pressure in those nittos a shot. Try 20+ psi.

I ran my nittos around 18ish for best hooking. Heat them up good and I slipped the clutch around 3300. Netted pretty easy 1.9 60's. Play with it and 1.8's aren't too hard.

There we go that is waht I was looking for 116mph that sounds more like a G5X-2 it should be fine. get a rear in it then heads. you'll be flying.

10.9 versus a 12.4 Elapsed time. see how much setup matters (traction and weight) and how little cam matters in the overall picture? lol. it is true, cant always compare cams on the internet.

01Z, in NO way am i putting down what you have down with your car and lou's cam (i am not a hater), but lets not confuse issues. look at the 60' times and DA differences are massive in the two runs, and ofcourse both are MUCH improved on your runs between cams. there is an easy 2 to 2.5 tenths right there that had nothing to do with the cam.

I'm hoping to go to a better prepped track this weekend and cut that 60' down to 1.8.

some of you guys arn't very nice. i mean, think about how many variables play into this. 60' times, track prep, DA, car weight, etc. i bet this guy hasn't lightened his very much at all like a lot of the guys that put up the killer times. some people drive their cars everyday, everywhere (like me) and don't want to turn it into a race car with no carpet, insulation, air bags, ac, etc, etc. i mean he has 3.42's in there with a BIG cam. that thing must be a real pain to launch. some 4.11's and he'd probably have 11's right there. just my .02

Right on! It's really a pig compared to a lot of the cars on here. I'm waiting to snap the 10 bolt to go to 4.11s and that should help out a ton. Thanks for the insight too!
