Question Bump stops

We have the weld pro stars 15x10 on a 275 /50/15 MT DR. Question is took the wheels off and noticed a slight rub on the inside of the tire in just one spot. Figuring it must be loading or unloading the car at the track. Can i lose the bump stops with out hurting anything at all.Did a seach and came up with alot of yes and nos. And it almost looks to me with them on if the car would get sideways bad it would almost get into the wheels. Shocks were on the QA1s all 4 corners. Stock bolt on motor. Thanks gang

as long as you're not loading the car down with 4 people and a trunk full of luggage you'll be fine even daily driving it.

while they do unbolt, the bracket will still stick out the same amount, so typically you cut them out and weld in flat 16 gauge steel or something similar.

all the way to the inner fender. might have to hammer it in a little bit and clean it up some so its not a sharp leading edge.

come look at my car and i'll show you how they look all smoothed out. Just cut out the entire section and weld in flat 16 gauge steel instead and if you cut enough out you can weld the steel against the coil spring for the most clearance possible out of those fat springs.
