You could rivet it with some silicone or something in the middle but I would use sollid rivets.... good ole rivet gun and a bucking bar.

Unless you have done this before (solid rivets) I would not advise it.
thanx man. i may try the fuzor stuff u mentioned. ya ive never messed with solid rivets before

Its pretty much the same think as welding. I have seen it used on TV and a lot of body shops use instead of welding. As far as I know some webing in cars is held on by the stuff.

All the info I have seen says its pretty much just as good as welding.

Not sure on cost, enter your zip and call.

I know what your talking about, from the factory you have the panhard ron, the peice everyone replaces, then there is another peice above it.

When it comes to taking it out.... I have no idea. I will not own another 4th gen untill probably next week.

isnt that just 3 holes in the actual rear frame rail and not a separate removable mount? this is why i am confused.

ill re-investigate tomorrow and see if it is actually a piece that can be removed. i just got a quick glance the other day. it may be in the rear frame rail and not in a seperate mount and cant be removed. not quite sure
