Chubbz155, did yours come with the ground effects or did you add them?

My car came with the ground effects from the factory. It is the RPO code: Y3F sport appearance package. It looks like a V6 car, but its a Z/28, i have seen a few SS's on here with the same package.

I have struck black gold.

From Finishline Transmission
Level 6 trans.

Time to get the flexplate ordered.

Once trans is installed, get tune and go have some fun.

All the parts have arrived and the trans install can start.

Upgraded the flexplate to billet aluminum.

Once trans install is done, get aligned front, rear and tuned.

I think this project is then completed and time to think of what to build next.

The original trans and flexplate are out.

Ready to install the new flexplate and FLT trans, ran into some bolt issues when using an aluminum flexplate. New bolts are ordered.

Convertor installed in trans, test fit flexplate to convertor.

The final count down.

In the morning, fill and check all fluids, make appointment to get car sent to alignment shop and then off to the dyno for tune.

how hard it is to adjust the TA, with the adjuster on top, and the stock floor. I know race craft told me they out it on top, cuz most guys have race cars they are low with 28/30 read tires they have to change the floor were the TA is anyway. So they keep the cover removable to adjust it form in the car.

It is going to be difficult to do without cutting a trap door in the floor.

I spotted some amsoil in the background!
That is the only oil I use.

She starts,shifts,drives and no leaks.

Have an issue to figure out, tach, temp and fuel gauge sweep when the key is turned on and then do no function once car is running

Need to get to tune and alignment.

check the ground wire just under the dash on drivers side. Actually it may be under the kick panel. It's the ground to the bcm. Mine did the same thing. Forgot to hook that ground up when I removed dash.
