How do you plan on hooking up your driveshaft to the dragster coupler?

I like the Ferrari style engine assembly room. The plants keep the humidity levels in check.

the dragster couplers coming off that was on there when i got the center section. im boring the 350 block from 4.030-4.155 with a 3.750 stroke,6 inch rod and its gonna b 18* gm heads fully ported,ported/port matched intake. all that through a powerglide. yea if you can see there is a shop where i can do a lot of work but right now its kinda full so i couldnt get my car in but were getting a bigger one soon. so i didnt wanna wait i needed my car done. yea i thought the plants give the garage a nice aroma lol my mom puts all her crap in there.

The old style 350's come factory with a 4.00" bore. so your bore will be .125" over from stock bore. The motor must have been bored .030" once before, and that .0625" on each side, paper thin, I would have it sonic tested for that big of bore. A 400 has a 4.125" bore from the factory.
Im very interested in the tubing of your rear, I thinking of doing it my self, keep us posted and pics in progress

Yeah, I agree. All of your 350's, regardless of year (Gen I)come with a 4.00 bore, and there is no way you are gonna hit 4.125 on a stock block without hitting water. A 400 block, yes. A 350? No. Even on some BBC you would be hard pressed to take a stock block .125 over. Ain't gonna happen on a 350, sorry. .060 sure. .090 maybe, if sonic'd. More than that and you are hitting water.

I'm sorry but the block in the pics is a GM. Not a bowtie. Take the advice- it won't go .125 without issues.. Just get a stock 400 block and save yourself the headache.

Im with you,^^^ , If could see the casting numbers on the back of the block, drivers side , below the heads were the tranny bolts, I could tell you what the block came out of. And if he uses the crank that in the pic. he will haft to get custom main bearings , The 400 cids. come will larger main bearings.
If you get a 400 block make shore you check the steam holes that between the cylinders , most that Ive seen is cracked to the head bolt hole. The casting numbers on the 400 block , The last three digits ,for a four bolt mains is #511, the #817 is a two bolt but very strong block extra casting, the #509 is just a standard two bolt block witch is the weakest of the three. unless you in stall splayed main caps.

509 is actually the strongest and most desirable of the 3. The 4 bolts don't have enough meat in the webbing to hold the extra bolt.
