Default looking for pics on how you mounted your pin on hood??

i have done lot's of pin on hoods, just not on a 4 gen f-body. was wondering if anyone had some pics of how you mounted your zues plates?

i have heard of the rail style, just not seen it. if anyone has any pics of this style, i would appreciate it.

i am just worried about the strength of the plastic fenders, to support the hood at 180+mph?

thxs jeff

I would search for "Sunoco Pin On Hood". There have been several threads with pics of the sunoco actually being installed with rails and brackets. They would be very useful for what you are wanting...

I just ordered mine yesterday, they are IMO the best product out there that i've found for a pin-on. the rails are alot stronger than idividual Dzus brackets.

I should have mine on this weekend so i post some pics asap for ya

www.racecraft.com for info and some pics of the rails

I just orded a set today also. The side rails are $125 and are 2pc. so you dont have to cut the lip off the fenderd, and are height adjustable. They dosnt make the 1 piece anymore, talked about when they 1st made them for $155 or whatever. The fronts were $35. I'm gong get the self ejecting dzus #5s, Ill post some pics. Bought a new sunoco pin on for a smoking deal, $225 last week. Came in today

Being the firebird 1/4's are shaped a little differnet that's my only concern. I'm looking for a good setup and know the racecraft ones are really nice on a camaro, I just need some confirmation that they will work on a firebird and I"m gonna pull the trigger.

looks the the front dzus might be a tad too far forward to work on a firebird hood...
