Little bit of grease remover and the tape residue should come right off.

Only thing I see that will be a bit of a pita is the corners that are by the base of the windshield are up a little more then they probably should be.

I may, have those cut off when I have the hood mounted (cowl is getting cut at the same time and the engine bay will be getting repainted as well) and have a couple filler pieces permanently mounted there.

Have to see though.

Looks killer for sure, can't wait until I get mine on the car. Between the hood, the formula hatch, lowering the whole car an inch or so, and doing the tubs on the car and the 15z12 double beadlocks it's gonna look like a totally differnet car! Hell maybe I should convert it to a hardtop while I'm at it.

You can see them sticcking way up. How does the gaps in the side seem? How about the level from side of fender to hood. I know My WS9 hood fit like ***. Thats My biggest drawback about buying this hood.

The pics are a little decieving. The "wings" look like they stick up but with a dzus fastener and a little clearancing around the glass they push right down. Its pretty thin fiberglass there and flexes to conform to that area pretty well.. We should have it fitted up with all the gaps checked next monday, but so far the gaps look pretty good the hood sets nicely into place and is level next to the fenders....

Yep,

We got mine fitted up last weekend, and the hood pins installed(made our own rails).

Looks clean as hell! When i get back in town this weekend, I'll throw up some pics. It fit PERFECT once we sanded the wings to sit flush against the windshield.

Also the front bumper doesnt have any support behind it. Once the support is built itll push up nice and tight under the "snout".

Get your ugly *** out of my photos!! haha

On a side note:
Who said you can't make Firebird rails?! We sure didn't! We'll get pics of mine up later. I think we fit 5 pin's down the side, with the final one at the very front corner.

Do u guys keep hoods in stock? I once called for a ws.9 out law hood and was told 6-weeks wait. This is what has kept me from ordering a hood from you guys. I would like one,but my A.D.H.D keeps me from wanting to wait.
Thanks.

I'm so pissed I had ordered the other lift off cowl style hood about a month previous to VFN releasing this...

Looks good.

Yup I've got the older style that extends further up on the windshield. If I had the money I would buy the new style but oh well. Here are a couple pics of mine. Being 6'1 helps because I don't have any issues seeing over it or driving it on the street
