I might do a vid, something day time. Im still not expert on the trans, but after the 2nd time I could drive across country, or any city traffic, thats were Ive been driving. Got over 100miles so far. I'm on 285 or 295 MT DR and I would think they would be better, but Im making some good power
Last night I did a 2-3-4 real WOT, holding the pedal on the floor. Ive been doing my normal fast as I can shift. Its nuts, the stock tac is slow But I think I could see it flash up quick over 7 and the shiftlight is on longer during the shifts. It hits the tire hard. I can't really do that on a 2-3 it hits them and spins thu 3rd mostly. I pedaled it a few times thought it hooked back up, then WOT pull 4th and it got sidways. Way more MPH then I'm used to having that happen, its really fun but I need to be careful.
Slowing down and coasting you can't take it out of gear unless you going down a gear right then. You rev match and shift a gear down, even you you dont let the clutch out, you do that each gear (to match the speed going slowing down, if you did what to clutch out and drive your ready). Like when your coming up to a red and there 1-4 cars there already. You dont want to clutch in, put in it N and coast unless your going to stop or a slow roll.
Upshifting I noticed too last night, going a little more RPM just in normal traffic, and dbl clutching it will be quite alot more often. My normal in traffic upshift I think it 2K 2200, But going to 2500-3000 past were the exhaust really cleans up and gets louder then normal slow driving, its dead quite. I Think its form when you clutch in, the trans rpms fall faster (to idle), so there more likely to be matched (no sound) when the lugs going in the next gear up. Or if you upshift low rpms 2200 even dbl clutching you have to wait 2-3 secs with the clutch in for no noise.
I think the cars gona be alot faster at the track now, I was having to shift so slow, I htink thats showing up in the 28... 30mph halfbacks at indy, The 2-3 (maybe 4th shift) in is the 1st 660' and I had alot of wasted time in the shifts.
Any guess on the MPH

now I can fill the trans without removing the shifter

didn't think this fill tube setup would work. But I could just put a plug in it and still better better then no fill hole. But it dose with a little length of 3/8 tube (maybe 2, 2 1/4inch long) to get it past (while sealed) to inside the car, right in the middle easy to get to. And still fits under the leather shifter boot.
No more or pulling shifter, the console, or floor boot. Just unclip the boot, pull it up or to the side, put a funnel in the tube. I capped the hose end (solid plug), and it just sits there all sealed up. And easier to get the fluid level right with the trans pump (add more). Gota find out how you set that?
Also went to studs for the shifter, keep the threads in the trans better. Getting a little worn over the years, and now the crazy shifting.
m8 x 45 or 50mm work great, if you what to change to studs.
