I think the tires are probably your main issue. If you could get some nice 28x10.5 mt bias ply tires on there I bet you wouldn't have the spin / bog issue. How much do you weigh? I'm interested to see the weight of the car.

I thought it should go faster then this, this is the order of the clock. I gotta check but I think thats my 1st, with I wasn't happy with. It yanked the wheels and I turned a little bit. So I pullled 2nd short at like 6K? (shiftlite is 6600) then pulled every gear early (6k?) But that was the feaster run? If so I need to lower the shift light and see if if it picks up. I'll check my dyno but I think 6600 was peak power. The other runs were dead on shift hitting gears. Biggest wheelie was the 3rd run witch was the slowest 1.599, I'll get the vid, it was 8inchs maybe a foot, but for like 8-10 feet and bounced back up. So tightened the front shocks form 0 to 2. It helped that it wasn't as big, hoping the car went forword, but it didnt really show up. The I wanted to get some wheel speed and try to get the slicks to spin 1-3 times. So went form 15 to 16.5 psi. another (1.556) The car run the same numbers? I think the better 60's should have showed up in the et's more.
anyone have any ideas??

DS2's -43 psi
28x10.5x15S 15 (16.5 last pass)
2step @ 6500 every pass (maybe bogging, tring not to dump the clutch tho)

Nice times. Once we get some decent air you'll get 10s.

Love what you've done with the car

I Ran into the same thing last time out i always shift at 6700 but one round i shifted it at 6400 and i mph 124 ET was a 11.55 with a crap 1.70 60 foot. And yes tire spin helps alot.

Here is a vid of how bad my car is bogging off the line and this was a 6200 rpm hit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4K3z...er_profilepage

the 1 inch 4140 spohn. I think a rod end BMR would be better, but I drive then on a street all week. I'm gona look at the vids and see how the sway bar is, so thats its not just yanking a tire but doing wheelies

You could always put an airbag in the right rear spring and ptu a little air in it to help the swaybar if the car is rolling over and you don't want to put a drag type bar on the car.

Looks like it's getting there though, good job!

some updates

Put a camara in the car, made a cool video
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...autos-gay.html

tested a BBK85 and a FAST92 on the car. some good info in here.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...vs-fast92.html

car was not lauching stairt, added a spool last week. More predicable then the truetrac for a fast M6 car
https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...-truecrap.html

went some 11.20s on the stock rims, and DR on the back. Got a new best 1.599 and a 1.598 60's on that wheel setup.
On the way home driving slow the stock DIY adjustab;e master broke the arm. Did a new setup better with a bolt shank. posted some pics, and wer the stock in hollow inside
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...r-writeup.html

Today got ran some 10.8s, on the drag wheels... 10.84 @127 was the best

thanks,
No I just put the carpet in, kept the mattering under it still it comes with. But its out right now still form when I got the car in lightweight mode. This winter I'm gona have that seam sew'd (sp?) so its one piece up over the top. DId you hear anything bad? I htink its great, alot better then the stock after stripping it all. it only safed like 7-8#s and was still heavy as **** and loud. Speed inc is still loud, but alot lighter.
All I had this year, I put some duct tape insideout loops behind it to hold the top of the rear seat part up. Its worked ok for a while, with the sided tucked under the side pannles. But when I'd put a blanket down and put the slicks in the car. It would pull it away a little. I'd put one slicks right behind the driver seat, had a way to get it down in there past the dome light, and fit it tight to the hoop., And a skinny on the other side. The other slick on top of the gas tank, and other skinny in the Ttop well. with the floorjack, and other tools. I have that piece of the light gray Oritze, now for the top the speed inc carpet is short. But not sure if I will get darg grey, or cut that part off my stock carprt.

took out a little more weight this weekend.

With the 20TL mufflar, I dont need the whole stock sized heat sheild. So I cut a lot off ot it, and bend a little 1/4 lip on the outside. Its stiffer then stock now, fits great dosn;t rattle or anything. The middle is maybe 7x20 just the size of the mufflar, with 2 strips running to the bottme of the Ttop well for thouse 2 bolts. And 2 section on the side to thosue bolts, the over the axle side is maybe 3inch wide. And cut way down the other hear sheild for the over axle part. Not a lot of weight but its half the weight still covers all the plasitc tank, and alot more room back there now. And took off the panhard rod brace, that with the bolts was maybe 5-6#s. I already took the heats sheilds off for the Ypipe. Just leave that one that hold for the clutch line.

if I'm gona keep the S60 still, Im gona make transmoutn lower shock mount tabs. Over the stock studs style I use now. And I'd like to make the with 2-3 places, becuse the car is lowerd, and the bigger tires. So I can let the rear end hang and not have the cut coils unseat. (the summit shocks are longer not too) But with the BMR weld on LCA reloc brackets, and it having the stock spring, and everything else brakets. Theres some extra metal than can be removed if I want to put the time in. But I'd still like to just order a 4130 fab9 housing kit from quatermax and make my own this winter. Same for a TA, and make a alum trans mount with the TA mount like my BMR but lighter.

I painted the back of the kirkeys with the black (dark gray) hammer paint. Looks alot better then the raw alum I'll get some pics up later with the covers on, need a 2nd coat. I rolled it, and some of the "hammer" finish marks look open. Make sure you wipe the seats down good, they have some oils and stuff from the brake, and bead roller making them. I was going to have them powder coated but they need to be acid washed and alot of prep, and not sure if it would have any problems. So just painted them.

I cut a little off the back of the seat plates, I'm never gona use thouse holes and this makes them look a little cleaner not sticking past the seat. Painted them with a can of the same hammer black but in a spray can, and it looks black? weird? Seats are the same can I used on the rollbar, only painted were the covers don't cover. Did around the inside holes for the belts too. Should be cleaner then the raw alum.
looks good so far
