Just looking at roll bar padding and what to order. I have a Wolfe 1 3/4 CM roll bar going in. I see the new SFI padding in halfs. Do i order 1 inch half or use two all the way around? I like the way the high density looks better. It goes on with adhesive. Is this what everyone is using? I see on company uses velcro staps? Just want to know the proper size and type to use. I run Mod class IHRA want to tech to 7.0 1/8TH at least. Thanks

I just ordered and received some myself. I think you mean 1-5/8" chromoly.

I just ordered that with the 78000, which is the 1.5"-2" sfi 45.1padding, the other softer rubber like stuff clips over it and you get the best of both worlds IMO. The 7800 is adhesive stuck, i will be installing it tonight. I will probably add some black zip ties to make sure it stays.
I ordered direct, send them email.
I ordered some stuff from Jegs prior and it was the wrong stuff.
This stuff isnt bad for cost either, all for under $100 thats 9'.

Get the SFI approved stuff, that sticks on with the adhesive. Pad everywhere your head coudl ever hit, and I hate to say it, but zip tie it on too, because the summer heat will melt the glue and it will fall off unfortunatly.
The SFI stuff that summit sells is Jaz SFI approved stuff fyi, so if you are gonna order it from jegs or summit it's the same stuff. get at least the 1 inch thick as anything less then that isn't really enough to work if you ever needed it.

I got the Jazz padding from Jegs and put it in about 5 weeks ago. I like it. I put a zip tie on each end that comes with the padding. But I think I got the thinner 1/2". I'll have to look at the paper work.

I installed the dual padding tonight, I will need to tie strap it as well to make sure it stays on the bar with heat changes.
It looks clean and I like it alot. Soft for driving on streets with sfi pad underneath. I will post a few pictures tommorow.
