Default 408ci build numbers

Ray Little and Chris Frank at Raymac Race Engines in Fort Worth recently completed the new engine. This engine was built mainly for street use with ocassional drag racing at the track. Naturally aspirated the motor produced 650.0hp at 7100rpm on the shop engine dyno. We couldn't get a good nitrous pull due to insufficient voltage to support it. On just a 200 shot we expect to be at or near 900hp. Motor will handle a 300 shot as well. The motor is a hydraulic roller and was still wanting more CFM of air but is limited by the hydraulic valvetrain. Build details include 6.0L iron block, Callies rotating assembly, Wiseco Polydyn coated pistons, Dart Pro 1 cylinder heads prepared by Chris, Edelbrock Super Victor LS1 intake, NX Pro Shark direct port nitrous with progressive controller.
The intake still needs to be port matched and the low profile elbow may be holding us back as well. Once the drivetrain is installed and driven for awhile I will start looking to find more HP with this engine. Thoughts have been a carb style throttle body and a distributor.

Currently have a 4L80 being built with a RMVB and transbrake. The Fab 9 rear and suspension has already been installed.
Prop's to Chris and Ray and I can't wait to get the car on the streets soon.

Thoughts?

voltage N/A will cause some issues as well. We had the airflow there, Jay, but I was just talking to Chad tonight whose also having issues with Dustins tune. If voltage drops below a certain amount, the fuel injection program from GM will automatically go richer than what is being commanded in other parts of the tune. Like we talked about before, F the tuner they want to use, we will deal with in real time and get the power it wants to make out.

PS..

Thought you didnt want post any numbers...hehe

i dont know too much about this stuff yet but i was wondering if a 107.5 lsa would be good with that much juice, I thought that cams with 114 lsa was better for a big nitrous motor.
