i dont envy you at all cause thats a lot of damn work!.... but it is very good work! i like how you thought about making it easy to work on.... many people forget that... good job

Thanks for all the kinda words. I have put alot of thought into this car. It's been a work in progress for sure. Bryan, thanks for the props on the adj. shock deal. It'll look alot better once the factory frame rails go back in. I will tie in some outriggers so to speak into the open tubes that you see. The outriggers will be 90 deg bent tubing into the frame rails. My goal was to get the shock as close to each wheel instead of them being right next to each other. This is the very first time I attempt such a project. I have done a ton of home work. I just hope she's a contender once she's done.......
Oh yea, those pesky rod lenghts huh??

Thanks Phill. There's been many a times it gets tough to get in the garage and get some work done. All I had to do was get on here and see your progress and that was enough inspiration to get back at it.

That blower motor is really for my 69 Camaro. It's a 25.5 full chassis car. It's going to get registered and street legal. I'll use it for those Hooters, Sonic visits and mainly car shows and some trips down the 1320. But we will build a set of headers and a motor plate so I can run that sucker in the Vette when I'm in dire need of attention.

damn this kind of stuff makes me want to sign up for wyotech.......... like right now. I wish i had the skills to do a tenth of the stuff that you can do. where did you learn how to fabricate like that.

My first cage I had done by a chassis shop. But, I was able to watch/learn as they did it. Then, just practice.
Wyotech (or something similar) would probaly be a better "short" term solution to learn a skill like that, but you are still gonna need lots of practice either way you slice it.
Also, I could be wrong about Daca, as he might have learned from a trade school. It is just from my perception from what I have "spoke" with him through PM's that I came up with the conclusion that he was self taught.
