I dont think they are quite as loud as the dynamax or loudmouth and not nearly as raspy. They do have an odd design. Its like part chambered, part perforated tube like the bullet.

He's talking about the 4" round one. There is a pic on the first page. I'm gonna try the bullet first and see how that is. Then I might try the spiral flow if the bullet doesn't sound good.

Ya i know which one, maybe it was just the pictures of it, but the casing looked like it was more then 4 inches. Looked like it would make contact with the driveshaft and floor board. Looking at summit it does say 4", must just be a deceiving picture.

Yeah those pictures sometimes arent the right part. Most sites say at the bottom "Picture is not an actual representation of the part".

Mine is 4" but the middle section is 5". I put a piece of rubber tubing under the cross brace to keep it off that and welded a hanger on back of it to adjust it. It doesn't touch anything.

Because most guys who lurk in the external section would bash such a setup. Most everyone I see running this type of setup has a drag race oriented car. I wanted positive feedback and didn't think I would have received that in the external section.

I ordered a bullet and turndown yesterday. Hopefully it comes in by Friday so I can install it this weekend. I will post results and a video if I can.

Thanks

I got the muffler and turndown. Now I need to source 20" or so of pipe to extend it off the ypipe. I want the turndown to be right before the rear axle. Will post up later this week.

Honestly I wouldn't even bother with the pipe. Just run it off th y-pipe. Its not bad at all dumped right there

It's not really visible unless your about 2 feet off the ground looking for it. You can tuck it up pretty nicely. Also turn your dump about 45 degrees toward the passenger side so that way the sound isn't bouncing directly off the pavement.

After the first couple weeks you'll want to get down there and retighten all the clamps like you would a normal exhaust. Unless your welding it of course.

Well I just picked the car up. I waited to get a piece of pipe welded to have the muffler sit right at the rear axle.

The car is definitely louder. Cold start up made me smile. Cam lope is a lot more noticeable. It has a nice deep, "muscle car" tone to it now. The rest of my exhaust is QTP long tube headers and a Kook's 3" ORY. There is a slight rasp around 2,500 rpms but it goes away quickly. You just learn to get through that rpm range quick. I haven't really gotten on the car too much yet but above 3k rpms the car really wakes up and makes noise. Cruising around town under 3k rpms it sounds like a normal muscle car with exhaust. You can't even see the muffler from the side of the car either. I consider it money well spent.

Now for the pics:

Added a video!

Exhaust is a lot deeper in person. A little point and shoot camera doesn't have the best microphone in the world. Haha.
