Ypipe to bullet then dumped
Does anyone have experience cruising with the dumped bullet after the ypipe? Does it compare to a true dual setup dumped before the axle? I had that on the car when I bought it. I was thinking of switching for the sound, flow, and weight savings. Thoughts??? BTW, the car is a weekend warrior.
Thanks,
Andy
UPDATE:
Well I just picked the car up. I waited to get a piece of pipe welded to have the muffler sit right at the rear axle.
The car is definitely louder. Cold start up made me smile. Cam lope is a lot more noticeable. It has a nice deep, "muscle car" tone to it now. The rest of my exhaust is QTP long tube headers and a Kook's 3" ORY. There is a slight rasp around 2,500 rpms but it goes away quickly. You just learn to get through that rpm range quick. I haven't really gotten on the car too much yet but above 3k rpms the car really wakes up and makes noise. Cruising around town under 3k rpms it sounds like a normal muscle car with exhaust. You can't even see the muffler from the side of the car either. I consider it money well spent.
Now for the pics:

Exhaust is a lot deeper in person. A little point and shoot camera doesn't have the best microphone in the world. Haha.

no rasp. sounded great, but got old after a couple days of driving.
scares small children, people stare at you. its like rolling around with the cutout open. the single bullet does nothing for the loudness, it just takes the "ring" out of your ear a bit.
i like stuff super quiet, so it may be just me....
