I got a couple more parts in today and we're starting on the cage tomorrow morning. Sent the converter back to Neal Chance so maybe it will be here by next Friday so I can make a Test N Tune/ Outlaw race before we head down to Pinks.

Here's the $50 plastic seats from LoneStar. Plus the $46 seat cover

Made this block off plate with a piece of scrap aluminum

And the brand new B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. Damn quicksilver wouldn't work with the electric solenoid...

Very nice build. I just read it all. I must have missed it, but are you running a plate kit or DP?

You will love the th400. It is rock solid pass after pass. Cool car!

Well I made about 4 passes this past Friday night and god you gotta love those Neal Chance converters . I guess we're gonna have to put the car on the scales and adjust from there because it was leaving pretty crazy. I haven't been able to get the electric shifter to work yet either. So despite the leaving sideways and banging off the limiter it still ran a 6.44 at 107MPH with a 1.420 60'.

Here's a couple pictures of the cage and other stuff. It's still not 100% back together yet but it will be this week. We always forgot the camera, so no pictures or videos from the track . I'll get my girlfriend to take her laptop to PINKS and also to get some good pictures though since we're heading down there Thursday night

The rollcage looks nice man. Funny you made a plate to take the place of the airbag in the steering wheel, I started making a plate for mine a couple days ago lol.... Car is coming along very nice.

Yeah when you can't afford a nice steering wheel you gotta improvise . I love it, feels real comfortable and if I ever drive it on the street I can just unplug it.

Thanks a lot, I plan on trying to pretty it up a bit before we head down to PINKS. Time to put some carpet in and hide all the wires. I had to just throw the dash in with four bolts just to make it for a Test N Tune. We showed up at 10:33 and they closed at 11 so I just made four hot laps.

It never left straight kinda looked like a damn mini 10.5 outlaw car trying to go down the track so we're gonna borrow a set of scales and move the battery to the trunk.

Nice job with the car, LOVE the swaybar!!
If I remember correctly the alt will not charge the battery with the guage cluster out of the car. Learned that the hard way.
yeah, exciter wire for the altenator runs from pcm thru the cluster. cluster must be plugged in.

Yeah you'll have to buy a cowl hood for it to work and I still had to cut a little on the Sunoco I got.

A buddy bought a Wide Sunoco and I'm already wanting one of them now

Oh yeah. Finally got the car scaled out today, it was way out of wack.

New raceweight is 3,328 without driver and 3,488 with me. Gettin' down little by little.

Well first off I had a great time, somewhat dissappointed but it was still fun. Anyway, we took off down to Crandall shooting for a 9.90 (Which I think we easily could have got) but as luck has it "**** happens". All weekend long we had problems with the electric shifter and on top of that the car was on the rev limiter as soon as I went through the 1,000ft.

All in all I KILLED my old best 60' and even got chosen for the wheelstand competition. I knew there was no way we could win, but it was still awesome just to be out there in front of all those people. We also met some great people this weekend.

SO all in all we had a great time besides the fact they should have picked the 10.20 class for the 32 car field .

So here's a bunch of pictures and a couple crappy videos I'd like to share . It's still just a little 370CI with a 150 shot.

First qualifying pass
