I had a couple of problems with my brackets, the shocks and swaybar.
The generic brackets I bought didn't clear the shocks. Even after grinding them down I didn't some.
Here you can see the clearance. I drove it around the block and could already see the rubbing on the swaybar.
The brackets I made. Used some slimmer lock nuts and narrowed the bracket.
clearance
The BMR is contoured to clear the shocks.

I have the same problem with a Spohn solid rear bar and a nine inch. I called Spohn they said it was OK to take some off the bar,it seems to be a somewhat common problem. I did it with a grinder and a sanding pad. I still got issues though. I am gonna weld a plate on my shock mount and move the shock to the outside about 3/8 of an inch.

i went through this hassle last year, bought the bar. had tyson at PAF install it. he calls telling me it doesnt fit that its hitting the shocks. he said he could do some shaving, i told him no, since that shouldnt be a remedy. talked to spohn, they said it wasnt their problem that it was mosers fault. got the run around......2 months later it was finally credited back to my cc.
tyson installed highly recommended the single Wolfe. he installed it, plenty of room, better adjustablity and cheaper. i love it!

Hello,
Our drag bar is designed to clear all shocks, it is bent around the shocks and offers quite a bit more clearance. Please see the picture below and here is a link for more information- www.umiperformance.com/2245-300
Thanks!
