Shocks hitting Spohn sway bar?

Shocks hitting Spohn sway bar?
I know this setup usually runs close, but I was at Burkharts today and he mentioned that they had some cars have real problems because the shocks (QA1's) were hitting the Spohn drag sway bar and binding. So I got home and checked, and mine are rubbing. I'm not sure if relocation brackets (like chuck and madman sell) will fix this, as they move the shock forward but not sideways to make more room.
Anyone know what to do?

you can go with the relocation brackets, It is usually the **** that is hitting the bar? As im sure you know the bracket turns the shock and **** out and then you can also weld the brackets further to the left or right a little to gain the room needed.
I have experienced this on a couple cars with single and dual adjustables not wanting to fit. The brackets fixed all of them.

Does it look anything like this? Its not good for anything in the suspension to be binding. It was causing my car to squat funny and it was launching crooked. I ended up ordering those weld in relocation brackets from Madman, but they didn't work with my Strange double adjustables. If you do order them, call him up and make sure you describe your shocks very well as there are different variations. We ened up just relocating the shock mount a little by welding in a thick washer. Worked out great and the car was launching straight again.

Only thing you can do is move the lower shock mount inboard a little, you can also roll the bar forward on the rear axle tube if the mounts arent welded and get a little more room.
Either way its a pain in the ***, I had no issue with the Spohn except for that, thats why I put a BMR on this car. The BMR is curved around the shock and has a ton of room.

It depends how you mount the sway bar as well, like I said if you roll it forward you get more room. Its possible the center to center between the shock mounting points may be a little different between brands but I had the same issues with a strange 12 bolt and the spohn bar hitting the shocks.

I have the Moser 12 bolt and it's fits well, close but fits.
I really wouldn't go grinding on it Black, plus I'm pretty sure it's powdercoated so you'll compromise it. I would just go with the BMR if it's gonna be an issue.

Aside from a bar from TRZ, the Spohn or BMR with the Poly bushings have some give as opposed to Wolfe which is welded. I do want some given and I figure do the research now.
Thanks for the advice.
