Any rule of them regarding how many you should have on the front and sides for a pinon hood?

I don't know of a rule persay, but I would put at least 3, preferrably 4 down each side, and at least 2 in the front, preferrably 3. Couple along the back too and it should be good.

What hood are you mounting, and on what car?

Your cammero???????

If you think air will be able to get under the hood then add more.... I would not go with less then 3 up front and 4 on the sides if it was me... COuld get away with 3 on the sides but I think 4 looks better and it is a little insurance...

Well the previous owner went 8.9x in the car and the hood stayed on. But I'll look at adding another one per side. Not sure I'll do the 5 on the side like Mr. Tom Overkill.

Start with one on each side and if it comes off, add another to the side and so on.

May take a few hoods but at least you will know for sure how many you need, my professional advice would be not to paint any of the hoods until you have it all figured out

The hood is not prone to lift on the dyno. You're fine.
