Default Minimum pinion angle for the track

I am currently running -1.3 and it will shake violently at 110+. Never noticed anything on the street as I do not drive that fast. I know I need to take some of that 1.3 out of the angle but at the same time I do not need the angle to go positive on launch. I have full rod end suspension. I thought I read somewhere that the rod end suspension cars did not need to run as much negative angle.

how do you even calculate such a precise pinion angle down to the tenth exactly? I'm at -2 with all rod end suspension in the rear, poly mounts or rubber mounts will want more pinion angle due to deflection typically. If you're not getting vibration until that high a speed I'd be looking at tires or driveshaft myself.

I run mine at about -1/2 degree. More pinion angle only does one thing: Add a bind to the drivetrain.

Using a smart level. It is not tires or d shaft. Def it the driveline angle.

Why would you need that much angle in your drivetrain?? Just trying to figure out the differences between different setups. One has -.5 and the next has -3. Big split there. Althought the guy with -.5 does have a nice pic of a great wheelstand so I am sure it is not hurting his setup. LOL.

i think the more negative you have the more initial bite you will get. unfortunately it comes with down sides as well. i think mine is around -2* or so. with good suspension parts that won't distort you can get away with less angle and still hook great.

Kind of my point. If the car can do that with a couple adjustments of the shocks and the travel limiters... I'd say the pinion angle is o.k.
