Rear Drag Suspension Setup for high 9s/low 10s
Obviously keeping the budget theme of my build, whats a good rear suspension setup for an auto Camaro that will run high 9s/low 10s. I have Competition Engineering SFC's and 8 point roll cage that will be going in to stiffen the car, obviously the 10 bolt will be going for a 9 inch or 12 bolt, what else would you guys recommend to get the most out of the car.

I have the same question and plan on running low 10's and high 9's. I have QA1's and everything tubular up front with a lot of weight loss. Rear is 9" with a adjustable TQ arm. Adj. Panhard/LCA's. Was planning on Was looking at QA1 single adj. rears or Competition Engineering shocks?

Fronts...that was going to be the next question. I have alot of weight loss and running 15x3.5s up front. Sway bar is gone, so other than that its all stock right now...the canvis is blank.

Black94, if you are interested I know you are kinda local, I have a bunch of used F-Body rear suspension I'm going to sell pretty soon... cheap. email me at john@motorsports-media.com.
but i'd do a phb, lca's, and shocks in back. at a minimum.

IMO, LCA's with relocation brackets, Adjustable TQ arm, and a heavy duty rear sway bar would be the most important suspension parts. Obviously the biggest part is getting a wheel and tire combo that will hook. If you put a tire under the car that can hook you will be able to go deep into the 9's with the suspension parts that I listed. If you have spare $ after that then I would do the double adjustable shocks. There are lots of guys on here including myself that have gone 1.3 60' times on stock shocks and springs. If you plan on trying to hook on a drag radial or a small tire, then the adjustable shocks will be more important.
