Default Can't find the swing out kit I need

Looking to add some swing outs for my door bars and the only kit I can find is the CE one but I don't want that. I want the one thats slotted, looks like it slides into the bar vs. around it. Sorry, can't even find a pic right now. Looked at jegs and summit, nothing.

Yep, looks like A.R.T. has them. Not cheap!

Anywhere else?

I got them from cachassisworks.com ; they were $139 a pair (one pair is enough to do one swingout)

Item Number 7036 SWINGOUT CLEVIS & DUAL EYEBOLT 1 5/8x.134 ROLL CAGES

Damn thats expensive.

The CE ones from jegs are $42. $84 to do both sides. Hmmmm...Not as nice, but they work.

Can you weld mild steel to CM?

They are very nice and easy to install. I have the SW swingouts. Alot more time consuming to install.

The old saying "You get what you pay for" comes to mind.

Can't blame you at all for wanting to save cash, just make sure you get
something is both safe and reliable. There's no point having a swingout if the
darn thing jams or warps on you or you have to carry around a mallet to get the pins in.

I purchased those particular swingouts on the advice of my installer, I can't say I'm even remotely sorry I did.
$300 hardware, $300 in CM tubes/plates + a good deal on 8hours+ labor.
Having a rollbar and swingouts I'll never have to worry about; priceless.

Those big clevis ends are expensive, if you can get away with the plates and single clevis its a lot cheaper. There are a couple options in the chassisworks catalogue.

The SW works OK if its done right.

I just did the CE ones in another car, they seemed to work ok. I just like other ones better, look more solid. I suppose they basically function the same for safety.
