Good idea for me to move too 28" full slicks?
My 26" DR's are done so I will need new tires this year. I have the rear to handle full slicks now no problem so would I see some ET/MPH gains going up to a 28" tall tire and keeping the width the same (11").

As stated already, if you're getting mid 1.5 60' times with the tires you have, I doubt you're going to do much better unless you're adding some power.

DR will be faster, if the track is right and your car works, slick will make alot less track prep tolerable, and a less then perfect car also livable.
I'd put a set of 26.x10.5x15S tires on, the stiffer sidewall will help a little bit and keep the car more stable at speed.... and I'm sure that at your power level it will work. I have a couple cars that are running on an 8.5 wide 26 inch tire that hook pretty good, the 10 inch wide should be plenty of tire for ya.

when i was on my 26s i cut a 1.39 60ft but the track prep had to be amazing...i got tired of going to the track with average to crap prep so that is why i have moved to the 28" drag radial...it still needs average prep but that is usually attainable...
