Default Question on 15" wheels on stock rear

Will 15" wheels fit on a stock rear end of a 2002 Camaro? If not what modifications have to be made for brake Caliper clearance? Looking to buy new rims for drag slicks and options are limited.

It depends on what rims you want and what size. So bolt right up and some require grinding the calipers

What brand?

Welds(summit and jegs knock offs) dont fit, you have to grind a lot
Bogarts are pretty much a direct fit but they are custom made

Centerline Convo Pros fit with no grinding on the rear, but I think mine are 15X10.

Thanks for the info. I should have posted this morning instead of wasting all day on the phone and Internet trying to get the right info. With that much backspace and 10" wide it doesn't create clearence problems on the back side? Don't guess it's offered in 15x8?

No clearance problems with mine. 26X10.5 slick outside edge sits right where my 315 35 17s fit on my 17X11 Torque Thrust II wheels.

The usual backspacing you want is for a 15"x8" 5.5 and the 15x10 you want 7.5

centerline also offers 15x9 6.5 backspace in several styles that fit with only light caliper
grinding.
