They are very close, I had to trim mine to make them fit.
I also removed the inner fender plastic piece as well. It was leaving rub marks on them. Must have been either from the launch or hard breaking on the big end.

Plastic inner fender liners are gone and i'm slowing rubbing the paint off the steel support under the location of the stock battery. Also be sure to massage the sharp lip directly over the centerline of the wheels where the fender and innerfender structure are bolter together. Once you are under there it will be very obvious what you need to remove. I just took a flapper wheel and contoured the the edges to match the opening of the shock towers on the inside. Here is a still shot with 28's on the front and 29.5's on back.
