Do most of you race your front QA1s at zero?
Going to run them for the first time this weekend. I hear zero setting provides maximum weight transfer..any down side?

I just got around to installing my R series Fronts and I already have 10 QA1's in the rear. Street set up is 5's all around.
When it goes to the track JL will be helping me set it up. With the M6 Trans I can definitly tell you the rears will be high, maybe 7 or 8. I don't know if they will need staggering but suspect it might. Fronts will be loose but I do not expect them to be Zero.
My issue on stock shocks was too good of weight xfer and not enough controlling of the body on the hit.
Now I can keep the rear stiffer and let the tire do the work.
Keeping the nose up is a key factor and thats why I went with the R series given my "Racing" Budget and Zero on the fronts wont work.

I was running QA1 R's at 2 and was cutting 1.4 and high 1.3 60's. We just recently went to 5 in front and it dropped to low 1.3's. I gave them one more click to 6 and let one of our Mods Cameron "camscam02" drive my car last time out. His 60's were 1.31, 1.29, and 1.30. We're thinking we can prolly go a little tighter on the front the next time out.

The main point that I think everyone is trying to stab at is....
1) Every set up is different, down to the power level, raceweight, drive train, and so on and so forth
2) Trial and Error will be a key factor in determining what works for your car. Most can "ball park" you but in the end what works for 9 out of 10 cars may not always work for you.
