Magnet View Post that alum bars I out on my front end made it a lot stiff, almost like stock. The middle is soft if you push you knee into it will dent with nothing behind the bumper cover. But its not saggy, bouncy or loose at all like before. Its firm.

I got my EWP mostly installed today. Mechanically it is all buttoned up, but I need to run some aluminum supports strategically and button up the front end/nose.

I did hit an AC line and leak out all the compressed air in the system, although no freon came out. I'm not really sure what needs to be done here?
Remove it! . Goodbye an extra 45lbs. We have hot weather and humidity here too and I'm fine in the summer with windows down.

Yea I've been gleaning from your thread already I need to run one more aluminum support, but Its all together and driving like a dream (besides the AC)

Its the last thing that will get removed off my car. I'll buy light weight glass and remove my airbags etc before I do that.. I drove it today in 80* weather and it was brutal... maybe I'm a wimp, but <3000lb raceweight with AC isn't so bad

Some updated pictures:

And my dads Formula, we just switched it to an A4. Took 3 days and it is just waiting for the torque arm bracket to arrive, then we can bolt up the driveshaft, fill her with fluid and let her rip

I've got him hooked on the stock internal game as well, this car will go fast at some point, but it is completely stock and stock weight other than the built tranny, YANK 3600 stall and LT's we just put on it.. even has a stock lid. It only got the LT's because we ran into a snag putting the tranny dipstick in and had to pull a manifold anyways..

6LE style, but ordered from Mad racing in real leather. They are significantly cheaper from there

Installed the headers today Everything buttoned up perfect other than the flange on the TSP headers is too tall and hits the bolt of the dipstick mount. I just had to grind down the lip all the pay around the bolt and then it went in.. not too bad.

The headers are definitely bigger, they don't have as much room to tighten bolts and such. My arms/wrists are pretty scratched up

EDIT: Pics tomorrow, finished when the sun was setting

Haven't been on here much at all lately, but I went to the LSX shootout this weekend and found some motivation...

As an update:
The wrapped 1 7/8th header are on, and the EWP is on, but the FAST intake/TB/Lid setup is sitting in my room starring at me

I met a good guy from Mississippi running his stock internal M6 there, his screen name on here is Nmass399, hopefully he will chime in sometime. His car was fast! Especially for how hot it was and how heavy his is. He ran a 11.7 at 116.6ish that I saw having significant traction issues and probably went faster but I didn't see it...

Thought your car fell on you while you were installing those headers.

Whats up man? I have been watching your build thread and we should get together sometime and take a peek at eachothers build. We arent far off from eachother in terms of build and weight. Your dad stopped by in the formula a few months back when I was stripping my SS and we talked for a while. I work at Artic Auto Air on 41 in N. Ft. Myers.
