Default Custom Carpet For The Mini Tubs

Just got the car back from Everlast Auto Interiors to get custom carpet for the race car. Last week we just had the mini tubs finished. The tubs came out so nice that we didnt want to hide them with the factory sail panels. So Everlast has an idea to make the panels custom and also removeable.

Check out the oem looking foot pad!

Now the motor gets pulled and then its off to paint.

I really like the looks of the carpeted panels. It looks like you started with speed inc. or similar carpet with the plastic piece by the pedals. What kind of transmission is in there? Care to pass along any other details on the car?

The interior shop made this carpet from scratch.

The trans is a GForce G101A 4 Speed. I highly recomend this trans to everyone.

I just googled that transmission and your swap thread on here was one of the first results. That's a pretty nifty transmission. What made you choose that over some of the other G-Force, Liberty, or Jericho offerings?

I picked the G101A because it was the smallest and didnt have to cut and modify the tunnel to much. Also the price was right. GForce sells used ones that they rebuild. They come off lease from Nascar. Trans is under $3000.00
Liberty and Jericho were way more money and Bubba at GForce was very helpful.

First pass on the trans NA i beat my best N20 Pass with the 6pd. That shows you the tranny helped alot.

how much lighter is that carpet than the stock pig blanket?

does it still keep the heat out from under the car?

Looks great. I was actually debating yesterday how I wanted to do the interior with the mini tubs I just put in. But I like the look of the carpet coming up in place of panels. Yours turned out very well.

We didnt weight the before or after. I already had a light weight carpet in there. But didnt fit the 4spd.

I would assume this carpet would be the same or a little more than the light weight carpet.

This custom carpet was over a grand. The whole back half of the car is one piece.

Did they carpet the back interior panels, or is that something else seperate they made? Hard to tell.

1000 bucks, it looks like it was probably that much too, came out really good.
