snell certified helmets, anything for $100??
went to the track today and the tech told me my Shoei motorcycle helmet is no good anymore. He said I need something with the snell sticker inside.
i don't want to spend another 300 just for a helmet for the track, since I have this Shoei already, but if I need to get a snell, is there a source for an open face, simple helmet for around $100?

Don't forget open face are illegal now for some cars.
Plus I would not buy a helmet based on what's cheap, I would rather have a quality used piece, then a junk new one.

Get a nice motocross helmet. They will have the latest safety ratings, they will have excellent ventilation, and they will look great. Here are a few cheaper ones that will keep you passing tech for years to come:
