Cool senical. they work well. As good as it gets for a small battery from my experience.
I paid 330 for my shorai LFX 36A3.....it weighs 5lb. But like I said they outlast the braille so cost is not as much of a factor. The charger is like another 120 I think. But if you drive your car often then you won't need it for awhile. If it sets then just unhook the battery. The lithium can set much longer than the braille and still start the car and maintain charge.
For those concerned about costs stay away from the braille for sure. Look up the DEKA equivalent and that will save some bucks.

What did you use to hold down that battery?
Did everything needed to connect the battery to the terminals come with the battery?
How did you hook yours up?
I'm ordering one right now. Gonna try it out.

My stand alone goes in the stock battery location so I guess I'll put it in the back. How do these batteries do from the back with long cables and such? About 13:1 compression 408, no hvac, no stereo, power windows and locks, all lights, trans brake, line lock, arming switches etc, two bottle heaters, electric water pump, full gauges some smaller electronics and stock ecu. I think that's about it electronic. Car will rarely get driven, mostly a track car trailered to the the track but if I do drive it I don't want any issues...

Why do people keep talking about electrical accessories? The battery is for the starter. The alternator runs the car.
Anyway, the 21lb battery seems to work well in trunk mounted applications. You're going to have some voltage drop from the cable length compared to a shorter cable, but it's not a lot.
