Default Which Braille battery?

I'm want to purchase a light weight race battery that will mount in the factory location and I'm trying to decide between the Braille 11.5lb B14115 and the 15lb B2015. This is going in an M6 car with minimal accessories (no hvac, no a/c, no stereo). The car only comes out in the summer and is not a DD and the farthest I drive it is 100miles round trip.

I have been using Braille B2015 for a couple of years now. Car is a track only car and gets trailered to and from the track. So far so good.

Thanks man, I takes to Larry today and ordered the B14115. My car has minimal accessories and also gets trailer to the track so I opted for the lighter battery.

Your car is the example where IMO it would ok to run a light weight, small battery and have it be safe and actual results may come out.

I do know that most have had a Aluminum bracket bent up and then some self adhesive padding attatched. If I had a pic, id post it but since its sealed you can lay the battery flat on it's back and the terminals face towards the fire wall. and most times your utilizing the stock location for the battery hold down and using a sheet metal screw for the other fastener.

I run the Odysey PC680 and have had it for 3+ years. My car has minimal acessories and I street drive it a lot. ZERO issues so far. These batteries (braille and odyssey) are light years better design than conventional batteries. Every year my battery goes 100% dead from sitting for 3-4 months. I trickle charge it for a few hours and it is good to go. I even had a stupid draw on it over the summer (console lid wasn't sealing good) which left a tiny light on which drained the battery dead in 2-3 days. Every time I would just charge it and it would always work fine. I have it held down with a simple piece of bent aluminum.

Braille 21 here but in back of car. I would be little skeptical of anything else for my setup. Not many accesories but high compression.

I use the ETX18L by DEKA. There are a lot of posts out on the web about the brailles and some of those other batteries being rebadged Dekas. I bought mine at Advanced Auto for $80 if I remember correctly. Never had any issues with it.

They have various models too they look just like the brailles with out the fancy covers and stickers.

I bought a Hawker (PC680) re sticker for $100 last spring. you can still find them for cheaper then other right now,.
