Default Steering wheel airbag cover

What do you guys do when you delete the air bag with the stock steering wheel??

i hate the huge opening but dont want to put it all back together (i sold my stock bags and activation unit, so its not like i really can)

i know a sponsor sold a epty steering wheel thing, but i cant find it anymore.

Do you guys just go to an aftermarket wheel?

Aftermarket wheel and adapter. It will give even more weight loss.

What I did (because no one sells the "fake" covers anymore) was pull the airbag out out of the wheel and put the wheel back on.

An aftermarket steering wheel will save more weight, but isn't as stealthy, if you are into that kinda thing.

I wondered the same thing when I deleted my passenger side air bag. Removing the steering wheel airbag just to retain the cover seemed a little too dangerous for this old man - but I wonder if you could try and find one from a car that's already deployed it's airbag. You could probably make it work.

I'm pretty sure when the airbag goes it pooches the cover aswell.

Yeah, it kills the cover. Once the power wires are killed there should be no chance of it going off. Just in case, I keep my head clear of it...

I love my sparco, Got the side horn button for my 2 step. Was a little pricey though, the steering wheel, hub, and button cost just over $300 bones.
