Heating the tires with a M6
I just got done watching another vid of someone doing a burnout and grabbing gears while sitting still WTF do these people think the wheels keep spinning when they speed shift into the next gear ...ah because they dont, they stop and shock the whole drivetrain like a MF when they dump the clutch in the next gear.....just do your burnout in second or third gear and be done with it and if you think thats a bad idea then think about this after frying the tires in first gear they are starting to get hot then you rail it into second gear and they are hot then WTF slam it into third gear it is alot better for the drivetrain if you just do a sencond gear burnout or a third gear burnout thats why theres water there you can get plenty of tire speed and heat with just one gear...............and this only applies to manual trans car and auto will keep spinnig when you shift WHATS EVERBODYS THOUGHTS ON THIS

You see the higher end cars using 2-3 gears in the burnout box but they are built for it. I don't see any need in a street car.
Not sure why they don't just start in third in super fast cars though. I guess maybe not having front brakes they need the instant speed of the lower gears so they don't roll much?

I talking 10/11 second cars street cars stuff with drag radials I really think that these guys think that the wheels keep spinning when they shift 1-2,2-3 that has to shock the s**t out of the drive train ...talk about ways to blow a rear ..and I saw a camaro at a EFI meet with some kind of manual trans set up.. it F**ken pulled the wheels off the ground when he pulled in to second gear bad as **** the car said vagasil " just itchen for a win " I know sombody on here knows it .... second gear is the way to in a manual unless you got some steep gears then you want to go third I agree ..I just thought it was funny wondering if these people think the tires keep spinning when they shift it....

As long as the drivetrain is built to handle a hard launch, I don't see what the difference would be launching from a dead stop at 6k+ rpm's or shifting gears in the burnout box? It all shocks the drivetrain, there's just no getting around it in a clutch car. I personally do my burnouts in 2nd gear and then roll it out spinning at about a third/half throttle until she bites.
