2002 Trans Am WS6 Drag Car - Project
I hope the mods allow this post. Since this car is drag specific, I was hoping someone would be interested.

Man that car wouldn't bring 25k if it was ready to go, much less in pieces. I'm not trying to be mean but you are going to need to be reasonable. High retail is 17k for the car in mint and factory condition and this is the most a bank will loan. So to cover the rest and pay the TT&L the buyer will need an additional 10k in cash. The car is nice and the low mileage is a plus, but that only really matters if the car is in it's original condition.

Horse power or price?
Horse power, it's a great tune.
price - just a random number, because I haven't been on the boards to see what things are going for. I figure if it catches someone's eye, they'll contact me and easily get a number we both agree on.

i didnt take the in the box parts into consideration.. what all has to be done? what parts are you saying are still in the box? sorry if it seemed like a low ball price, but im just giving a rough estimate no disrespect meant.

I agree with you on the price.
Even though the parts are in the boxes it still doesnt add value to the car. The fbody market has dropped alot in the last year or two. With performance parts you are lucky if you get .50 cents on the dollar when you sell a car. Right now is also the worst time to sell race cars, boats, rv's, anything hobby related because its the first thing to go when times get hard and the market is flooded with deals right now because of people loosing jobs and selling these items to support there family. I had a friend just buy a 8 sec turn key f body for under $20k, it would take $50-$60 to build the car easily. You also have to remember its also a 8 year old car already and the 2011 f bodys are already out. Its also getting harder to get loans on them.

^^ I know, it's not the first car I've bought or sold. Just sold my 730rwhp C6 a couple of months ago.
Took awhile, but found someone interested and we both came to a price.
I do appreciate the information guys.
Anyone who is interested should contact me. If the buyer wants certain things done, I'm sure everything can be arranged.
